14:00-22:00, Welcome Event in Monte Palace
We are delighted to invite all conference participants to our official Welcome Event, taking place on the afternoon of Monday, 6th October, at the stunning Monte Palace Garden.
The afternoon will begin with a scenic ride on the iconic cable car, offering breathtaking views as you ascend to the venue nestled in the hills of Funchal. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed into the enchanting Monte Palace Garden, where you will also have the opportunity to check in at the registration desk.
This special event will include the inauguration of an exclusive art piece (more info coming soon), celebrating the intersection of culture, nature, and science.
As the sun begins to set, enjoy a welcome cocktail with delicious appetizers in a truly unforgettable setting. The evening will be accompanied by live music, creating the perfect atmosphere to meet fellow participants and ease in to the week ahead.
