Health Safety

At ICMB XII, the health and safety of all participants are our top priorities. To ensure a safe and productive event, we have implemented the following health and safety measures in line with global best practices and local guidelines.

Please note that by registering for the conference, you have agreed to abide by the policies stated below.

Please email us if you have any questions about these policies.

General Health Measures

  1. On-Site Medical Assistance: A dedicated first aid station will be available at the venue to address minor medical needs.
  2. Emergency Contacts: Emergency contact numbers for local medical services will be provided to all attendees.
  3. Air Quality: The conference venue is equipped with modern ventilation systems to ensure fresh air circulation throughout the event spaces.
  4. All participants are expected to:
    • Practice good hygiene and respect others’ personal space.
    • Notify event organizers immediately if they experience symptoms of illness.
    • Follow any health guidelines communicated by event staff.

Flexibility for Attendees

We understand that health concerns may impact travel and attendance plans. Participants unable to attend due to health-related reasons may refer to our Refund Policy for details on eligibility.

COVID-19 Guidelines

While the current global situation regarding COVID-19 has improved, we remain committed to minimizing risks:

  1. Masks are optional but recommended if you're feeling unwell.
  2. Hand sanitization stations will be available throughout the venue. Attendees are encouraged to wash hands frequently and use the provided hand sanitizer.
  3. Participants who feel unwell are encouraged to test themselves for COVID-19 and refrain from attending sessions if they test positive.

Local Health Resources

The event is taking place at the VidaMar Resort Hotel Madeira, where access to medical facilities and pharmacies is convenient. Should any participant require medical attention, our team is ready to assist in connecting them with local health services.

By adhering to these measures, ICMB XII aims to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all participants. Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to making this event a success!
